Lenten Fast and Abstinence Guidelines
Ash Wednesday & Good Friday: Fast and Abstinence
All Fridays of Lent: Abstinence

Fasting: One full meal plus two smaller meals which should not equal the full meal. No eating at other times of the day. Catholics between the ages of 18-60 are bound to fast. Pregnant/nursing mothers are exempt.

Abstinence: No meat. All those 14 years of age or older are bound to abstain.

Lord Jesus,
