We hope that other colleges in the diocese will be represented too. Please mark your calendars! Let’s give Bishop Joseph a warm welcome!
Knights of Columbus
Jan 18
If you are interested in the Knights of Columbus, please contact the office at 865-4281.
Please call the office immediately if you wish to be part of the Confirmation class this year.
Confirmation is the sacrament whereby the Holy Spirit fills us with the gifts we need to be people of strong faith. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that Confirmation roots us more deeply in our identity as God’s children, unites us more firmly with Christ, increases in us the gifts of the Holy Spirit, binds us more closely to the Church, and gives us special strength to bear witness to our faith (#1303). Why pass up the opportunity to come to a fuller experience of God’s love and grace? Every Catholic should be confirmed. The sacrament is, in a sense, a completion of our Baptism. If you are not confirmed, please call or email Fr. Matthew (865-4281). The process is very simple and we will schedule the time of the meetings around the schedules of all the interested parties. God bless you all!
Student Faith Center
Aug 18
There is a display in the lobby with information about our future building. We especially need the support of our alumni and parents with this project because our “parishioners,” the students, are not in a position to be able to give a great deal financially. We have images of the Student Faith Center on all of our literature for the school year, e.g., schedules, brochures, and leaflets. This is a tremendous opportunity to provide a “Catholic” home on campus for all future Penn Staters. Please keep us and this project in your prayers. May God bless and keep you all.

Calling all Musicians
Jun 10
If you sing or play an instrument (especially piano!), the music ministry would love to have you! We meet 30-45 min. prior to each Mass, with an additional optional weekly rehearsal time TBA. Everyone is welcome! If you are interested in being a Cantor for any of the Masses, please be sure to get in touch with Phil. We’d love to get a big choir at a few of the weekend Masses this year! For more information, please email Phil at ptorbert@psu.edu or call the office at 865-4281.
Are you simply curious about our faith?
Do you know someone who is interested in becoming Catholic?
Do you want to increase your knowledge of Catholicism?
If so, please contact Fr. Matthew in the Campus Ministry office. Contact Fr. Matthew. Meetings are every Wednesday from 6:30–8pm, but other arrangements can be made. Please don’t let a schedule conflict become an obstacle. Through the grace of God we welcomed over 19 young adults into the Church last year! We’d love to have another BIG year! Also, if you are Catholic but have not yet been confirmed and you would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, please call the office.
